What is a System ticket?
A System ticket allows you to play more than the 7 numbers in a standard Powerball entry. A System covers all possible 7 number combinations of your 8 or more numbers.
The type of System chosen relates to how many numbers are played. For example, a System 9 gives you every combination of your 9 numbers, and a System 14 gives you every combination of your 14 numbers.
The numbers you choose in your System ticket do not change your Powerball number. The number you choose for your Powerball remains the same for every combination. However, you can play a Powerpik System entry, where you are guaranteed the Powerball number. Navigate to the Powerpik page for more information on this ticket type
System 8 Example
Below is an example of the games you would have if you bought a System 8 entry, compared to a Standard entry.
Standard Entry
A Standard entry would be your 7 chosen numbers plus the Powerball, like the example below.
